Ben Covey

Ben brings over 25 years of experience in UK financial services with extensive experience in private banking, wealth management and investment management.  

Prior to joining 7IM, Ben was the Managing Director, Head of Private Banking at Santander, where he developed and implemented a multi-year strategic growth plan to build their UK private banking business.

Earlier in his career Ben worked both as an Investment Manager and a Private Banker, becoming a Chartered Wealth Manager in 2013. Ben is passionate about creating and developing high performing teams with a client-centric approach.

Outside of work, Ben’s interests include kitesurfing and stand up paddleboarding. He has undertaken many charity challenges with both sports including a cross-channel paddleboard for the RNLI and achieving a Guinness World Record for participating in the largest parade of kite surfers in the UK covering a one-mile course whilst fundraising for SnowCamp.
